It is with a heavy heart, and bittersweet air that I compose this, my final DSPT Newsletter.
For 5 years I am privileged to have been a part of this wonderfully supportive, stimulating, and highly skilled team of clinicians. I have learned and grown so much, not just as a practitioner, but as a human being.
We all must embark on new phases, seasons or chapters at various points in our lives. Now is my time to do just that, after 20 years of living in NYC from my island home in Hawaii. I owe who and what I am to the experiences I've been afforded, the chances I've taken, the people I've encountered along the way, and the stories that have been graciously shared.
To the clinical and office team at DSPT, all of the healthcare/wellness/medical practitioners I've collaborated with, and the clients who have entrusted me with their health/well being: thank you.
Through the accomplishments and tribulations; the joys and frustrations; the growth and stagnation; the confidence and uncertainty; the comfort and pain—I am grateful for it all.
E hele me ka pu'olo – Make Every Person Place or Condition Better Than You Left It, Always…Where I go, I will take it all, and all of you, with me.
Wishing you all Happy Holidays and Happy New Year!
