Jon Diamond is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. He received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Columbia University School of Physicians and Surgeons and his Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Touro College.
Jon is one of a select few physical therapists who is certified in teaching the Schroth technique and has a special interest in treating patients with scoliosis in both nonoperative and postoperative patients. He continues to pursue continuing education and is certified to practice the Active Release Technique in the upper extremity, lower extremity and spine. Additionally, he has taken multiple courses in the selective functional movement assessment (SFMA), the functional movement screen (FMS) and continues to maintain his certification as an orthopedic certified specialist (OCS). He served on the Medical Team for the 2012 New York City Ironman Triathlon and was able to treat numerous amateur and professional athletes thereby helping them maintain their ability to compete at their highest level.
Jonathan takes a hands-on approach to treating his patients, blending manual therapy with therapeutic exercises to optimize patient recovery.
Pete Schultz is a Board Certified Orthopedic Clinical Specialist. He received a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University. Pete is certified in ART (Active Release Techniques), Graston Technique, and many other advanced manual therapy techniques.
Pete has a particular interest in treating athletic hip injuries, concussion, vestibular disorders, migraines, and chronic pain. Pete specializes in the treatment of BPPV/ Vertigo and has taken advanced coursework in vestibular rehabilitation. Using vestibular rehabilitation techniques, vision therapy, and other treatments, he has successfully rehabilitated patients with dizziness as it relates to post-concussion syndrome.
Pete regularly consults with professional and amateur sports clubs including The New York Mets in developing programs to manage and prevent concussion.
Pete served on the Medical Team for the New York City Ironman Triathlon where he was able to help treat amateur and professional athletes compete at their highest level. Pete is also a certified Medical Provider through the Titleist Performance Institute and has trained and rehabilitated golfers at every skill level.
Pete uses a biopsychosocial model when treating individuals with pain. His unique approach combines traditional physical therapy with behavioral therapies and mindfulness for the treatment of pain.
In addition to treating patients at Dynamic Sports, Pete sees patients at all stages of concussion recovery at The Hospital for Special Surgery as part of a multidisciplinary concussion team.
Bridget is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. She received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Hunter College and her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Middlebury College with a major in Bio-Psych and Spanish. She is certified in Active Release Technique (ART) and Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and has her Certification in Applied Functional Science (CAFS) from the Gray Institute. While at Hunter Bridget performed research on specific gait training for people with multiple sclerosis, which she presented with colleagues at a national PT convention. Bridget also has her yoga teacher training certification, which she received in India.
Bridget combines manual therapy with corrective and functional exercises in order to optimize movement and decrease pain. Having experienced multiple knee surgeries herself, she understands first hand that there’s an emotional aspect of physical injuries, and she seeks to empower her patients so they can confidently return to their active lifestyles.
Bridget played team sports through college, has practiced Capoeira for over 10 years, and competes in running and triathlon events.
Jason Ryu received his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Texas Medical Branch, and his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University with a major in Kinesiology. He is currently a Fellow-in-Training through the Institute for Athlete Regeneration where he has received his Certification in Sports and Orthopedic Manual Therapy. His clinical experience includes working with a variety of populations from post-operative rehabilitation to collegiate level athletes in the outpatient sports and orthopedic setting.
Jason incorporates manual therapy and corrective exercises in his treatments to reduce movement system impairments, optimize performance, and eliminate pain. As an active Crossfitter, Jason enjoys working with barbell athletes while also enjoys working with field athletes, runners, and the general orthopedic population.
Mila holds a Master of Science degree in Acupuncture. Her specialties include Orthopedic and Sports Medicine. Mila treats a comprehensive patient population, which includes athletes, dancers, pre and post-surgical conditions, chronic pain patients and the general population who may require her skills to achieve complete recovery and return to optimal health.
Mila utilizes Systemic Dry Needling, Acupuncture Physical Medicine (APM)/Trigger Point Acupuncture, Neuro-Functional Acupuncture, Japanese (KM) and Chinese Styles (TCM) of acupuncture in her treatment approach. In addition, she uses Vacuum Therapy, Western Herbology, Medical Aromatherapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) and Dietary counseling according to Chinese Medicine principles to achieve maximum results.
Mila is a big advocate in the field of an integrative approach to patient care. She strongly believes that combining therapies and techniques provide the most thorough and well-rounded approach in addressing a broad spectrum of patient needs. She collaborates with doctors, physical therapists, chiropractors and massage therapists to maximize outcomes.
Mila has worked with several Corporate Wellness Programs. She has also contributed to several publications on the topics of Chinese Medicine and Stress Management.
