As we welcome the beginnings of the crisp fall weather this October, we at DSPT are excited to share that we have officially become part of the Mount Sinai Trusted Rehabilitation Provider Network. Our DSPT team is looking forward to embracing the opportunities to collaborate with the Mount Sinai Medical practitioners!
Earlier this month, Iwa had the opportunity to attend a rather unique and intriguing continuing education course involving a novel approach to treating our clients who suffer from issues such as TMJ, post-concussion, chronic headache, dizziness (to name a few). Taught by Cynthia Stein Houck, PT, MEd this technique involves mobilization of the cranial and facial bones and fascia to achieve therapeutic benefit. We are pleased to now have this therapeutic intervention in our treatment tool box to better help our patients.
